SUMMER LESSON
POLICIES & PRICING

LESSON PRICING

At Full-Blown Trombone, we want you to focus on music, not on paying bills!  For that reason, all of our members have a credit card on file and are enrolled in monthly auto-pay.  But payment details are never murky -- You can always access all of your billing info 24/7 on the student portal!

During the summer months, members have lots of flexibility!  For summer lessons, you will only pay for the lessons you've signed up for, whether regular or occasional.  Full details below.

 Summer 2023 Prices:

30-minute lesson online: $40

45-minute lesson online: $60

60-minute lesson online: $80

SUMMER MEMBERSHIP POLICIES

All members sign and agree to these membership policies before acceptance into the studio!

These policies pertain to any lessons between the dates of June 12th and August 31st, 2023 between Full-Blown Trombone LLC and student.

Student Absences

Lessons during the summer operate in a slightly different manner to school-year lessons. Students or parents may sign up for lessons, regular or occasional, using the online student portal.

Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson if you need to cancel a summer lesson. You can do so by emailing or canceling the lesson on the portal. Lessons canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged to the family's account with no make-up.

Payment for Regularly Scheduled Lessons

Each family must have a card on file for tuition. On the first of each month, each family will receive an email invoice for the following month's lessons and the card on file will be automatically charged. The only exception is June; June's summer lessons will be billed on the first week of summer lessons, so you may see two charges for June lesson to your card – one for the school-year lessons and one for summer lessons. If you register for any lessons after the 1st, those lessons will be carried over to the balance of the next month. Please email fullblowntrombone@gmail.com with any billing issues as soon as they may arise.

Late Payment

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month through an automatic charge or your card on file. A late fee of $10 per week will be added if your card on file is unable to be charged.

Holidays and Teacher Absences

Your regular teacher will occasionally need to miss a lesson due to professional performance opportunities, family obligations, and/or sickness. In the event of such a teacher absence, a different instructor may substitute for the regular teacher. Lesson policies will still apply. The teacher may also choose to reschedule to a mutually agreeable time. Once you both agree on a rescheduled lesson time, regular attendance policy stands.

Health Guidelines for In-Person Lessons

Any student who chooses in-person lessons agrees to abide by the Full-Blown Trombone Health Guidelines.  The link to these guidelines is on the student portal “news” section and can be shared upon request.

Zoom Lessons

For the protection of all students and teachers, please set up your device in a public area of your home for Zoom lessons.  There must be an adult present in the home at the time of the lesson.  If you're having technical difficulties, please call or email your teacher as soon as possible to let them know.

In-Home Lessons

Please set up in a public area of the home.  There must be an adult present in the home in addition to the teacher and student during in-home instruction. If an adult is not present in the home at the scheduled lesson time, the instructor will leave and the lesson will be forfeited without make-up opportunity or credit.

Lesson times may vary slightly week-to-week according to unpredictable traffic, but students will receive the full lesson duration from the time of the instructor's arrival.
